Plantation activity carried out in a residential area
in Malviya Nagar with the help of a senior citizen couple,
both retired from High Court service. Though they are
living abroad, for few days they are on a visit to India
for attending a family function. They joined us in conducting
the PM-activity, highly motivated by reading our news
letters & other writings on PM.
Event summery:-
• Plants purchased from a local nursery by the couple
themselves.
• Plants distributed to society members by personally
meeting the residents.
• Wherever we found empty / unmanaged plants, same were
replaced with good plants.
• Purchased and placed 4 tree guards to Ashoka trees at
both corners of the street.
• Shared feedback regarding usage of different dust bins
to the Society members and insisted on usage of Jute and
Paper bags.
