During January 2007, we had planned to undertake cleaning activity and for this purpose, selected temple premises.

For cleaning we identified the pond inside the well-known Shaneeshwar Mandir near Moti Mahal, Lucknow. We carried out the cleaning on 30th January 2007.

Shaneeshwar Mandir is one of the famous temples in Lucknow, which is visited by a good number of devotees daily and on Saturdays, the temple will be heavily crowded.

We cleaned pond inside the campus of the Temple. This activity became an eye- opener for the visitors and helped in spreading awareness about Paryavaran Mitra amongst them.

During the visit to the temple for cleaning purpose, we also displayed banners of Paryavaran Mitra in and around the temple premises, to attract attention of public.

Further, "Swtantra Chetna" – a Hindi daily, published regarding BEL’s noble cause through Paryavaran Mitra. This news paper has circulation at least 5k per day all over UP. Scaned copy is attached.
