Our Activities - Campaign Against Use of Plastic Bags
This is one of the major activity of Paryavaran Mitra to create awareness
against use of plastic. PM is encouraging Paper, Jute and Cloth bags usage
instead of plastic bags. This is achieved by distributing these bags, sponsored
by corporates through PM.
Time to time rallies are also organized. Competition in the form of poster,
poetry, essay are also conducted in schools & colleges of Shikohabad and
nearby places.
Recently drive against use of polythenes bags initiated by U.P. Pollution
Board is also helping in this regard.
Bags have been provided in the residential colony of the company &
surrounding vicinity for collecting plastics which is collected every fortnight
& disposed off for recycling.
Plastic is also collected from various temples & religious place such as
BALA Ji and BATEHSWAR etc.& disposed off for recycling.
