Innovative Ideas :-
- Hyderbad Parivar Suggested that all our Bajaj letter head should carry the

- Delhi Parivar has started keeping all kind of waste paper in a separate
dustbin for recycling the same which will help into manufacturing rough note
books providing absolutely free of cost to the poor students through project
“Prakkriti – Solution for nature” run by Paras Dass Jain memorial Trust, NECC
Logistic group.
- Noida Parivar cleaned the lake which is situated just behind their office on
28th July 2006.
- Cochin Parivar has started giving old newspapers/periodicals/unused bottles
to a voluntary org. United Child Care Foundation (UCCF). They in turn give these
items to Hindustan News print for recycling and the amount received from HNL on
a/c of this is used to educate poor children who have lost their parents in
early childhood.
- Noida Parivar took initiative to guide some students regarding pollution
control and cleanliness.

Tree Plantation: -
- Chandigarh Parivar planted three plants in the back lane of their office.
- Guwahati Parivar has conducted one plantation programme on 16th July, 06 at
“Bal Bharti Public School” near survey of Guwahati-28.
- Kolkata Parivar has conducted one plantation programme at Dharmtala Garden
on 28th July, 06 and they also have taken a garden at Dharmtala near KC Das in
the month of July 06. Some development work have already been done / plantation
have also been made and further development work will also be done in the month
of august 2006.
- Patna Parivar planted 20 Nos. of trees on 27th July 06 at Panch Mukhi Shiv
Mandir, Boring Canal Road, Patna.
- Indore parivar planted 30 Nos. saplings at St. Vincent Pallotti School
premises on 26th July, 06.
- Nagpur Parivar planted 20 Nos.of trees at nearby Bajajwadi Premises on 23rd
July 06 and 20 Nos. trees at Gandhi Gyan Mandir Premises on 27th July, 06.
- Hyderbad Parivar planted and distributed saplings at Dwaraka High School
Domalaguda, Hyderbad having strength of 1000 students.
- Mass Plantation in Mayaram Surjan Govt. H.S. Girls School, Chobey Colony
Raipur by Raipur Parivar. They Planted 5 Nos. Neem trees, 2 Nos. Gulmohar Shade
trees, 5 tree guards with PM L & BEL Logo have been provided.
- Noida Parivar increased outdoor and indoor plants in office premises.
- Lucknow Parivar has done Tree Plantation Programme on 1st September, 2006
No to Polythene :-
- All P.M. members of Cochin Parivar has started using jute shopping bags.
- Kolkata Parivar has given some ideas in respect of cleanliness and not to
use plastic bags at Dharmtala Garden.
- Patna Parivar has decided that they will not use plastic bags in the office.
- Chennai Parivar totally discontinued usage of plastic bags.
- Patna Parivar has decided not to use plastic bags in the office.
- Hyderabad Parivar continued his message to all concerned with regard to the
effects of using plastic bags and emphasizing the need for using cloth, Jute
etc. and the same is highlighted in the school premises.
Smoke free Zone :-
- Chandigarh Parivar has declared no smoking zone in office and in front of
office.
- Kolkata Parivar requested all office staff members / their associates to
quit smoking.
- In Hyderabad Parivar 2 persons have stopped smoking after using of Anti Cig
Tablets.
World Environment Day :-
- Chennai parivar has conducted tree Plantation drive in a village near
Kancheepuram, on the eve of World Environment Day on 4th June 2006.
Greening of the work :-
- Raipur parivar has made nursery at Bajaj Bhawan for free distribution of
seasonal Plants. It is open to all whomsoever needs them to planting at their
residence. The condition is that they should maintain them well. Sapling have
been planted.
- With a view to have a healthy, green and clean environment in the office
premises of Indore Parivar. They have planted various indoor plants at different
places in the office.
Awareness Programmes :-
-
- Hyderbad parivar has conducted painting/drawing competition in Dwaraka High
School, Domalguda Hyderabad. Where around 60 students were participated and the
theme given is “Mother Nature.”
- Raipur Parivar Organized Drawing & Slogan competition on 19th August
2006 at Maya ram Surjan Govt. H. School, Chobe Colony Raipur. In which 45
selected students took part in these groups of 15 each. Topics were :
- Misuse of Plastic & Pollution for 11th & 12th Std.
- Water pollution for 9th & 10th Std.
- Ill effect of Traffic pollution for 5th to 8th Std.
- Environmentalist meeting was organized by Patna Parivar in August, 06.
- Bhubneshwar Parivar apprised all the Parivar Members regarding honking rules
and to use the horn sparingly.
