BRIEF ON ACTIVITY CONDUCTED ON 09/03/2009 (PRE HOLI)

ACTIVITY: AWARENESS ON CELEBERATING HOLI FESTIVAL

VENUE: VIJAYNAGAR SCHOOL, AHMEDABAD

PARTICIPANTS: PM COMMITTEE MEMBERS / STUDENTS / TEACHERS / PRINCIPAL.

Chief Manager- BSS Mr.I.M.Pai wished the gathering on the eve of Holi and requested to celebrate the same in an echo friendly manner.

Briefed that the Holi festival is one of the important festivals celebrated by Hindu religion. Without hurting the sentiments of the culture the festival to be celebrated in such a manner that our “Environment “does not get evil effect.

Holy firing to be lighted in a single place and all the residents of that area can perform the custom rather than Holy Firing lighted in different places in the same area. This will no doubt save the wood as well as reduce air pollution.

Dry Cow dung can be burnt instead of tree. This will clean the air and also remove the mosquitoes from the atmosphere.

Only echo friendly colors to be used: Kanku, Turmeric Powder, Avil, Gulal & Dry Mehandi Leaves.

Mr.Harish A. Bhatt PM-Committee Member conveyed the message sent by PM-President Smt.Kiran Bajaj to the gathering.

The School Principal / teachers and the students assured of celebrating Holi in Echo Friendly manner.

ACCORDINGLY ALL THE GATHERING AT THE SCHOOL EXCHANGED “TIKA      HOLI” CUSTOM BETWEEN EACH OTHER.

At the Branch Office before proceeding for “Dhuleti” holiday all the employees greeted each other with “Tika Holi”.
