Paryavaran Mitra 3rd Anniversary celebrations
All Cochin parivars of Paryavaran assembled at Y M C A Hall, Chittoor Road, Kochi - 18.
The function was presided over by Mr.Harikumar, a noted journalist and moreover a visionary with a mission to plant one crore trees all over the world. The welcome speech was given by Mr.Cyriac Thomas,Branch Sales Support Manager. The message of the President, PM was read out by PM Cordinator, Mr. M P Mohandas and thereafter the Chief Guest was called upon the stage for addressing the gathering.
Mr.Harikumar's address was so powerful and inspirational that each and every member of the Parivaar felt like contributing more to Mother Nature, to keep her green and healthy.
A presentation was also shown about Paryavaran Mitra's activities and various functions held all over the country.
Subsequently Mr.Babu P V, Col.R .K .Nair also addressed the audience. The meeting concluded at 4:00 pm with a vote of thanks by Mr.T D Ramakrishnan, AM (Appliances).
After the meeting at YMCA Hall, all members of the Cochin PM Parivar proceeded to Aanaparambu, 16 kms away from the city, where around 50 residents gathered. We planted 50 saplings with the help of Local Residents' Association.
BSSM explained to the audience about Pariyavaran, its aims, activities etc. The residents were keen to know about the activities of PM. Thripunithura Municipality Chair person Mrs.Ranjini Suresh was the Chief Guest and she was very much impressed about PM. Initiatives.
