CLEANLINESS DRIVE IN THE FRONT FACIA OF GURUDWARA SINGH SABHA ON 29.4.2007
For our regular outside PM Activities, during April 2007, we organized the cleaning drive in front of our Main office, i.e. Gurudwara Singh Sabha Complex on 29.4.2007. We thought of cleaning the entire premises to give a better look since lot of visitors are coming every day.
The front walls were discoloured due to spitting and garbage were scattered here and there.
On 29.4.2007 we assembled in the premises at 6.30 a.m. All PM members were present.
First of all we identified the garbage accumulated and other affected areas.
Cleaning and scrubbing of walls were done by us to remove the stains.
The dry garbage were cleared and the entire open space was cleaned by the members.
Again we painted the walls with white cement and placed dust bins with sand in front of TATA Motor Finance and Cholamandalam office.
PM Banners were putup in Oriya and Hindi Languages, to spread awareness.
Few persons from other office in the complex joined with us and cleaned the premises. The Secretary of Gurudwara Singh Sabha who was present at the premises, appreciated the initiative taken by us. He expressed his happiness since we have done the cleaning in a holy place viz., Gurudwara and directed the watchman to keep a close vigil on the commuters not to discolour the walls again.
