TREE PLANTATION DRIVE
As a part of celebration of PM Annual Day, we decided to have Tree Plantation Drive at the famous Radhakrishna Temple. First we identified the place where to plant the saplings inside the boundary wall for better protection. We approached the temple authorities of Radhakrishna Temple to have plantation at the identified location. They were kind encough to accord their approval to undertake the drive.
All PM Parivar members assembled in the temple premises at 7.00 a.m.with the saplings for plantation. We put up the banners to attract attention of the public in front of the temple. After that we went to their garden premises and started tree plantation. In total we have planted 12 saplings of different varieties. By 8.45 the plantation activity was through and we thanked the temple authorities for their co-operation and left the venue.
MEETING AND DEBATE COMPETITION
Since our office is under renovation we had arranged Meeting and Debate competition on the same day in MBS Public School , Bhubaneswar.
At 11.30 a.m. our PM Parivar members gathered at the school premises. We had done necessary arrangements for the meeting and Debate competition. We displayed our Banners, pasted the newly printed big and small posters, etc.
Mr. P.K. Tripathy delivered his inaugural address and appraised all the participants about PM objectives and the involvement towards Paryavaran Mitra.
Mr. A.M. Mathur, RSSM(E) addressed to the audience and requested everyone to practise in their day to day life to protect environment.
PM co-ordinator explained our sole ideas on Paryavaran and how to protect it from drastic pollution. To fulfil the dream project of our President Mrs. Kiran Bajaj each one of us should contribute to keep everything clean and green.
BSSM Mr. P.K. Tripathy had visual display of PM Activities across the country and our Monthly activities at Branch level. Everyone was very much thrilled and watching the Powerpoint presentation.
Debate competition
The topic given was “How to protect the environment and keep the city Green”. 18 students were participated. The competition was very interesting. The students came out with lot of information on Paryavaran Mitra. It gave us an idea that not only us, the present generation are also very much concerned about environment pollution and to safeguard it from the wrath and torture of human being.
The result of the Debate competition was announced and the Winners were given prizes in sequential order.
Mr. P.C. Panigrahi gave his vote of thanks to all the participants for sparing their valuable time to make our function success.
We have invited press and local media for this meeting and they attended and covered the function.
