We participated in the Solid Waste Management Programme, organized by Karnataka Rajya Vignana Parishath, Bangalore, in association with Ministry for Forest and Environment, Govt. of India.
The programme was conducted at Siddalinga Public School, Chandra layout, Bangalore on the 31st May 2007. Dr. Anasuya, Professor of Botany, Bangalore University was the Chief Guest.
We displayed our Paryavaran Mitra Posters at the Venue. We also distributed the Paryavaran Mitra Pocket Calendars and Leaflets to the participants on the occasion. Since the programme was conducted on the 31st of the month our employees could not be present for long time at the venue.
However, Mrs. Meghna M. Pai, wife of Mr. M K Pai, PM Co-ordinator, Bangalore branch was given charge on behalf of our Parivar to be present at the venue along with other lady members. Our participation was appreciated by all and has helped us to create more awareness on Paryavaran Mitra.
The major topic of discussion during the prgramme was SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT. There was an interesting demonstration on Composite Pit by the organizers.
