On the special occasion to celebrate Republic day, Buds N Blooms 2009 (flower show) exhibition was organized by Agri Horticultural Society of Western India Pune at The Empress Botanical Gardens, Pune. The Pune PM Parivar took part in the exhibition to spread awareness.
Mr. Atul Jain (BSSM), Mr. D.R.Agam (PM Co ordinator), Mr. Atul Srivastava (Fan RM inst), Mr. Vijay Dhoble (SIC), Mrs. Usha Mali (environmentalist), alongwith other PM members and 20 school children were present for this occasion.
One of the main stalls of this exhibition was chosen for spreading PM awareness, wherein, PM Banners / posters were put up and pamphlets on Do’s & Don’t’s were distributed.
The exhibition drew large crowds every day and more than one lakh of people visited and PM members took this excellent opportunity and personally briefed the visitors regarding Paryavaran Mitra.
The highlight of the event was the whole exhibition was for plantation / environment, wherein, varieties of plants / flowers / fertilizer / gardening materials, handicraft materials were kept for display and sale.
