As part of Independence day Celebrations, Painting competition in Govt. High School Mohali on 18th August 2008 (postponed due to heavy rains on 15th & 16th August) Students from 8th to 10th participated in this painting competition. Students were given the topic a day before the competition, to enable them to discuss with their parents. Topic given to them was “How to protect our environment ?“.

Students actively participated in this competition. The students expressed their ideas innovatively in their paintings.
Duration of the painting was for 1.30 hours and more than 100 students participated in this competition.  
After the competition we have done plantation in the school with the children, teachers and Principal, who appreciated the efforts being taken by the Paryavaran Mitra in spreading the awareness.
