PUC Check-Up camp at Pune

Venue: - Boat Club Chowk, Mundhwa Road, Pune.
Time: - 11.30 am To 4.30 pm.
Objective of the program: - Emission related components would be checked and rectified. 

The degree of pollution is increasing day by day globally and vehicles play major role in environmental pollution. The factors create pollution from vehicles are air filters, catalytic converters, fuel injection pump, fuel injection timing and engine compression. Through PUC (pollution Under Control) we can check and rectify pollution related components in a particular vehicle.  Vehicle owners participating in this initiative issued PUC certificates for vehicles that cleared the emission level check.

We have hired a PUC check up van for a day from morning 11.30 am to evening 4.30 pm.  We had PUC check up camp for two wheelers at Boat Club Chowk, Mundhwa Road, Pune.  This road is one of the busy roads in pune.

We put up PM banners and posters on and around PUC check up vehicals.  We also distributed PM leaflets to general public passing through our Camp.  The beneficiaries of this camp were briefed on PM activities and environment protection by PM coordinator and branch staff.  They were also made to understand the importance of PUC check for environment protection.  The response was tremendous and encouraging.  Totally 105 vehicles went through PUC check up and owners were happy to get PUC certificate.
