Awareness Campaign

Chandigarh City has taken a lead over other cities in becoming the country’s first smoke free city from 15th July 2007. Chandigarh Administration has said that smoking cigarette or bidi or any form of tobacco at any public place is an offence.

In support of this we have put 15 boards displaying NO SMOKING ZONE in different public places such as infront of our office, outside the Godown and Dealer place.

This board prominently gives the message that smoking is not allowed in this place. Below this message, Paryavaran Mitra & its Logo has been displayed, which has been appreciated by all.

We are planning to have 50 similar boards and same will be put in all the Dealer points, Hotels and main markets.
