As a part of April -2008 PM Activity, we have pleasure to describe it as below:
On 14th April 2008 on the auspicious festival of Ramnavmi, a procession (Rathyatra) was organized in Anjar City-Dist Kutchh with the co-operation of Shri Anjar Bhatia Mahajan Trust.
The aim of procession was to convey, the message “The Tree is the Life”. Towards this objective, children prepared a beautiful banner on a camel cart along with different pictures. Children also put on funny dresses and took part in the event with great enthusiasm. The general public also joined the procession and we appealed to the public to preserve and protect the environment.
PM coordinator (Mrs. Asha Patel) in close co-ordination with Shri Ashwinbhai Monani of the above Trust organized the procession.
The tabloids displayed the normal environment of the past, the critical environment of the present and future consequences, which drew lot of attention, as the message of protecting the environment appealed to one and all. |
